I'd like to ask a question to the NVidia contributors...
How difficult would it be to enable OpenGL to send the resultant fragment of the blending stage back through the blending stage with a different equation/function?
Daisy chaining blending operations...

It would be very useful...especially with the two different equations currently available (blend addition and blend subtraction).

It's not possible, although you might be able to get a similar effect using the combiners -- you could add or subtract several values there.

There's only one blending stage...
