Uh… Shouldn’t that light be modulated not added? Maybe I’m just seeing things…

It’s fog (I think!)
Do you just set the glFogCoordfEXT fog coordinate so that fog is dependent on the height ? The fog looks to vary only with y and not depth.

Yes the fog is dependant with the height.
