3dfx Voodoo 3000 problems

All, I have recently updated my drivers to my Voodoo 3000 AGP card. I’m running 98 on a PIII 450mhz and using openGL. My code now works terribly. While it still works, any polygons I render at the edge of the viewport ( half in and half out ), appear as though the vertices off the viewport are black and the others in the viewport are the correct color. This screws up my selection algorithm which uses the colors. It also looks terrible. I haven’t tried with the GLUT but everything I do in VC++ is mucho bad. Please help as I can’t make any progress until this is fixed. I’ve contacted 3dfx via email and am waiting to hear back.
