I want to get colored transparent shadows using
shadow maps in OpenGL. Do you know how it is possible?
no, u can use pixel kill functions eg alphatest so that an alpahgrill like texture on a solid polygon will cast a grill-like shadow but
perhaps u mean the discoball/spotlight effect that u may have seen ppl use. for that u just need to project a standard texture (not a depthmap texture)
