I Have A Big Bitmap

I have a Big bitmap to display. I want to map the texture to the quads,so I believe I can’t map the whole bitmap to the quads because of its big size.
should I clip the Bitmap before hand or OpenGL provides me some methods to do this.

I have to split the bitmap by myself
