Linear Algebra Book

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a Linear Algebra book? Someone told me that “Elementary Linear Algebra: Applications Version” by Howard Anton was really good. Is it? Or do you all prefer another book?

Thanks, Bino

I’m currently using “Linear Algebra and It’s applications” Pretty good although I haven’t actually tried to compare it with other Linear Algebra books.Check it out. It’s even got one chapter on applications to computer graphics. It’s written by David C. Lay and it’s ISBN # is: 0-201-34774-1

Linear Algebra by Fraliegh Beauregard is quite good, although it is very VERY mathematical :-)!

I always jump to the cheat chapter in
Foley, van Dam, et al: Computer Graphics.
That book is good for other things, too
(of course, it’s starting to get dated)
