How does 3D texturing vary across GeForce3, GeForce3 Ti 200, GeForce3 Ti 500 ?

I assume you mean the GeForce3.

Anyway, those are all the same core, so 3D texturing is EXACTLY the same on all of them.

apart from on the gf3 its done in hardware + with the gf1+2 its in software (or so i heard)

Sorry, I meant GeForce3, GeForce3 Ti 200, GeForce3 Ti 500.
So, is 3D paletted texturing done *in hardware* for all 3 ?

Yes they are all the same cards. The only difference is their production process.

In term of performance it goes like this :

TI 200 < plain < TI 500
