I want to learn something about triangle meshes. For example,to compress the triangle mesh data.Once I downloaded some models from
cyberware,but I can't read it(binary format).
Who can tell me how can get some useful data
and how can read it.Please reply or send me email if you know. Thanks in advance.

Try a search on Yahoo or google.com such as "free 3ds models" "free stl models" or "free vrml models". Worked for me.

Try www.grokster.com (http://www.grokster.com)
Get's you lots of free stuff - granted, some of it's being 'illegally shared', but you'll get some cracking 3d models for your experiments.
