New 3D web game takes advantage of OpenGL

Check out the online beta of 3D Stress Ball, which takes advantage of some of the OpenGL additive texturing modes, as well has Havok physics, for creating a realistic environment.

I’m guessing that you were playing Super Monkey Ball when you came up with this game?

It’s enjoyable, but it feels rather slow moving. I think I would like it more if it was faster paced, so quick thinking and reflexes would have a bigger role.

Games like Super Monkey Ball and Marble Madness certainly had an influence on this game during the initial design phase!

The game has now been speeded up slightly when using mouse control, so gameplay is a bit quicker.
