ATI Radeon Family lighting problems ..

I experience problems with lighting on ATI Radeon 7500 Mobility and ATI
Radeon 8500. I draw semispheres and put them in display lists to call later.
The semispheres seems to have about 60% of polys colored black. It seems
that the lightin problem exists only with display-listed rendering…

You mention that this is on ATI hardware - can you explain why you’re using ATI hardware? Seduced by 8 texture units, maybe?

I prefer NVidia unlike our customers …

3.4 drivers fixed some lighting bugs that we’d see occasionally on 3.2 drivers. These bugs would cause certain areas to be all black. If you don’t have 3.4 installed (7.88 “packaging”) then try to get and install those.
