Does OpenGL 1.3 use AGP texturing?

The new Geforce 3 uses OpenGL 1.3 and a few extensions by Nvidia. I could not find any mention about it using AGP texturing. Does anyone know if it does. AGP texturing helps to give the hardware virtually unlimited H/W texturing by not having to swap textures in and out. It processes it directly from main memory through the AGP bus

Practrically no one uses AGP-texturing cause it’s so damn slow. Some Intel graphics chipsets used it (the i740 I think, though I’m not sure). Most cards store textures in high performnance local memory. They might even have a texel cache to speed it up even further.
