what is the best way to get the information to stick

Ive been through some tutorials and found it wasn’t hard to comprehend (at least compared to direct x) but when i went to write my own i got through the includes but after that i was stuck, what should i do to make it stick???

Some suggestions:

  • Play around with the tutorials and makes changes to things like colors.
  • Take some of the earlier tutorials and try to add the effects from later tutorials.
