  2. …take a look at the samples, provided with the SDK: there are several sample plug-ins, showing object loading/savin/modifying/creating/what-ever. the demo-plugins are written very well, so it should be no problem for you as an “advantaged c++ programmer” to re-construct this code, to do what you want.
