I was wondering about this series of books
is “Game Programming Gems 3” a revision of “Game Programming Gems 2” and "“Game Programming Gems 1” or are these completely different books.
(Should I buy them all or just the last one?)

different materials in it.
maybe you should begin with the first then 
or take a look at the index and choose
the one with the most interesting material for you.
