Clearing buffers?

Dunno about your engine, but most of the time I dont clear either the colour or depth (but usually the stencil) buffers as drawing a sky box can be done without depth testing and will completly clear the screen of colours and old depth fragments anyway.

I guess this comes down to engine design though, as the need for a skybox removed the need to do any clearing for me.
