Am i just lucky?the Lord King of a Programmer? or am i getting B.S?

I bet im getting B.S
is this even possible?!?!

using a dedicated rendering thread im getting an OpenGL window to render at 16,000-35000 fps!!!

BTW: it only has a single point being rendered but still!!! am i just getting a B.S. fps or is this possible!!!

p.s. my normal apps single threaded though done in a completely different fashion only get an average of 450 fps

just in case im using a:
Pentium 3 750 mhz
Radeon 32 DDR fully tweaked but not overclocked
256 Mb RAM
WinXP Beta
MSVS 6.0

very possible my vanta can do 5000fps in a very small window. unfortuanetlly most ppl dont run there apps in very small windows. FACISTS

According to Humus’ (where is Humus these days?) GL_EXT_reme, my old GeForce2 GTS clocked at 220/380 got a pixel fillrate of 731 Megapixels/s so if I had a small window, 100x100, and not much overhead, I guess I could have reached 73000 fps.

Now imagine it without your fps routine =) EH? EH?

lol,

I’m here!!!

Just been away during the summer … I’m just visiting my brother now so I have some internet access for the first time in a while … but I’ll soon be back again … muuahahahaha

heh…heh…wooo

um…
it was a slight error in the program cause well all the dedicated thread was doing was counting unrendered frames the frames were being rendered elsewhere…

heh…well back to the old drawing board.
