I am not quite sure what you mean by a camera system, but NeHe has some really good stuff about viewing a 3D world (As well as a lot
of other things with openGL). Well it is worth a look even if that is not what you asked about http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/smile.gif.

In addition to NeHe OpenGl Superbible has an awesome camera routine. Get the book or I think the first edition is online for free - sorry forget where.

I built a system for rotating and zooming the camera around a given point, 'Homeworld' style.

I don't mind sharing, but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for.

Please specify what kind of camera system you want. I developed one that was like that of a plane in 3D world.

it's a link from nehe.gamedev.net on the left column, but I seriously recommend buying the superbible, I just bought mine yesterday... It costs about the same as any other computer book ~50 dollars.

I found the online reading hard to do because of all the frames and stuff... oh well, now I can read whenever I want I have the cd with sample codes and stuff...
