My professor told me I can use glx? what's glx in windows environment?

My professor use Linux, so maybe it is something else in Windows environment.

is opengl routines specifically for the x-window system on linux. You CANT use it on windows. sorry I had you can but I ment u cant

glx is rougly the equivalent to wgl on Windows. If you're programming with Windows you would NOT use glx.
