perspective/Frustum

hello - i was wondering if anyone could please describe what the difference is between glPerpective and glFrustum…would you ever use these functions together?

check www.google.com for descriptions
i use them together like so
perspective
draw 3d world
orthogonal
draw the 2D HUD over it

(edit) reread your post gluPerspective i believe is just a wrapper for glFrustum so they have the same fuction. gluPerspective might be easier to understand thus it exists
