Need info on how 3Dmax stores Keyframe, or Bone animation in 3DS files

anyone has any info how the Keyframe part of 3DS is structured ?

Search google for 3dsftk. It has full documentation on .3ds files’s chunks for version 3.

Some other docs i’ve found say something about the maths needed to go beyond linear animation. I believe they were on wotsit.org.
