light at camera position

Dear OpenglProgrammers,

I want to place my light at the cameraposition so that camera and light can move together.My camera is placed at (0,0,14) and when I position the light at this coordinates, I am unable to see the light falling on the World coordinate. Objects are located at 0,0,5. Is it beacause light intensity reduces as distance goes up.

Is there any other way to overcome this problem
