3rd Party

What is it?

It’s the one right after the 2nd party. Seriously, it’s usually defined as something that is not developed by you or someone else “in house”. At my job I use a lot of 3rd party libraries to parse XML, do HTTP communication, etc. If you’re writing a game for a game company, OpenGL might be considered a “3rd party” graphics library since your company didn’t write it.
