Has anyone succeeded with building Mesa 4.0 for/with MinGW? The makefiles for Windows and the include files are horrible! Strange that a free OpenGL implementation only supports a $$$ compiler (MSVC).

Hi !

The readme.mingw32 says that you can use mingw32, you don't need VC++, doesn't that work ?

It says something cryptic about installing MinGW and then running "mingw32.bat". Unfortunately, there is no such bat file in the 4.0 distribution http://www.opengl.org/discussion_boards/ubb/frown.gif (it seems that readme.mingw32 is for the 3.3 release).

Hi !

I think the best thing would be to post your question on the Mesa mailing list, I think they would be able to give you more help.
