Im having a lot of problems with my video card and like whenever i play a game it just like gets all these lines all over the monitor then goes crazy and shuts off but only the monitor and the sound goes off the cpu is still on i think. i have a Nvidia tnt2 and i tried to dl the current drivers but i think ever since i dled it, my games wont work anymore. I think maybe the drivers arent installed properly if anyone knows how to install it properly please let me know. For example when i play counter strike when i put it on open gl it messes up and has the black lines all over and shuts off, but when i do software just its just fine and works perfectly.
Assuming that you didn’t always have that video card, did you uninstall your old video card’s drivers?
