Total translucency

Ok I perfectly buld my alpha channel and it works. but not like I want! Invisible parts get the color of the quad mapped with the texture! I want 'em to get the bg color!
with bg color I mean whatever is behind it!
How I get it ?

You use the Alpha channel as a mask and a good example is at http://nehe.gamedev.net lession 33.

I am thinking you have made you mask reversed the just invert the alpha mask with a paint program.
