How does one output to an mpeg or wav file?
Is there a tutorial about video file types and producing them, or any book recommendations?

I guess that depends on your OS pretty much…
On Windows it’s easy, I do think there is an example (MFC) on www.codeguru.com or maybe it was www.codeproject.com
