View Full Version : Mouse Motion input

01-29-2002, 05:56 AM
Hi, I know that questions like this have been asked a few times, but I couldn't find a good answer for my question about input with GLUT. Basically all I want to do is retrieve the mouse position in GLUT with out Win32 API (-> GetCursorPos()) whenever the user moves the mouse without clicking a button.

Read up on glutMouseFunc(...). It's glut's way of handling mouse input.

Actually, you want glutPassiveMotionFunc. This does the same thing as WM_MOUSEMOVE.
