draw ellipses on a surface

Hi There,

I draw a yellow circle on the end of a cone using gluDisk and draw a few red non-concentric circles in the yellow one, but the red ones are very blurry and unsteady. Any idea to get a clear picture of these circles. Thanks in advance!

hmmm, thats a tough one Rich. im still trying to get hold of it. i think i need some pictures or some code.
