Does anybody know where I can find some info on the .x file format used in the Nvidia effects demo’s?

The x file is a directx file format, so you might find some info at a microsoft.com or some other directx site…sorry dont know of any off hand…

Yes, and the docs are in the DirectX 8.1 SDK help file I believe. You can get the SDK at http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/defa…xml&frame=true
