Sunlight and sky modeling

I need some practical and simple(fast)
tutorial with code samples about sky dome(with lighting effects) and sunlight modeling
for 3D scenes(projected with glFrustum(…)).
I looked in Google,but it’s takes a lot of time to find smth really practical for coding.I looked in “vterrain.org/”,they have
a great screenshots - exactly look that I need,but no informatiom how to implement it.
In Flipcode.com there is also a very short and too general information.
