error in running a program

Hello,
I am running X from a Windows PC to connect to a LINUX server. I am running the code and it is giving me this error

“GLUT: Fatal Error in teapotfly: OpenGL GLX extension not supported by display: localhost:11.0”

I am new to OpenGL and dont know what to do, any ideas???

Hi !

I am not sure if it’s your X client or the X server, but one of them or maybe both lack support for OpenGL.

Running OpenGL in a remote X client is usually no good idea anyway (to slow).
