View Full Version : Open GL issueswith Windows XP

Trying to find the correct driver for my ATI Technologies Inc. Rage 128 Pro Ultra GL AGP. Iíve downloaded the Rage 128 Pro from www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com) but it comes back as incompatible when I try to install it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Iím working on a Dell Optiplex GX 240.

If so, and it fails to install, please post the error message, and I'll see if I can help you further. Otherwise, I'd suggest emailing ATI tech support, or checking the forums at www.rage3d.com (http://www.rage3d.com)

Yep - it gave me the same error "the display driver is not compatible with the display adapter(s) installed in your system"

Since it's a Dell OEM, the ATI driver must not want to install. Another option is to try the Reference driver from ATI: http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/powered.html

That's all I can think of, if you're still having troubles, I'd contact Dell customer support.
