Are any of the high end gaming cards far superior to others when it comes to rendering in apps such as 3dmax? I just bought a ATI Radeon 64meg ddr and I am wondering if there was something (other than the GeForce 2 Ultra) that would be superior for non-gaming activity.
For non-gaming activity, there are several cards/chips that’s better that both Radeon and GeForce2 Ultra. These two cards is mostly used for entertainment, but if you are looking for more advanced cards, you might want to look at 3D Labs for example. They got the Wildcat cards, which are quite nifty. Evans & Sutherland got some cool ones too. But on the other hand, they cost quite alot.
