… Generally, my over-all PC’s specs…
2.50 Ghz Intel Pentium 4
512 MB DDR SDRAM
64 MB " " Graphics Ram
And OpenGL 1.1 is On Board, already.
… So, what did Intel with MS’s blessing SELL us??? The chance to BUY another graphics-card, perhaps?
The specs for a low-ball, but decent graphics-card seems to be THERE. But, is it simply the need for an OpenGL upgrade for their Intel Junk?
And was OpenGL 1.1 simply a TEASE for MORE SALEs?
For an example, I can FLY with Quake 2’s The Borg Matrix, TBM or LTKTBM, but Alice’s “EAsy Info” is not EVEN seeing most of my system? (Probably XP’s problem and not having an “accepted” 3D card?)
(Ignore my system stuff, below… It’s just for details.)
