same darn thing - medal of honor

All right. Been trying to help a guy in my office get this damn game running. and he’s the only one that gets this exact message everyone else is getting. Everything seems fine in his system. most current driver for his ATI Xpert 128, most current direct x, no string in his win.ini containing any dva=0, tried switching around all the damn opengl32.dll and .lib files, tried getting rid of the 3dfx.dll files, tried just about everything that everyone has suggested so far. He’s running a windows 98 machine. If anyone has anymore suggestions, please, bring it on. i’ve been researching over the net for atleast three days now, and tried everything i’ve seen so far. Please help

WELL IF YOU READ MY SUBJECT, YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT I TRIED THAT ALREADY, AND IT DOESN’T CONTAIN THAT CODE LINE. INFACT, NONE OF THE COMPUTERS THE GAME WORKS ON DOESN’T HAVE IT.

Well first thing you need to do is make sure you have the original opengl32.dll that came with windows.That should never have to change, well untill MS upgrades it. Anyways the different card vendors install there own opengl driver. Under WinXP they are
Nvidia = nvoglnt.dll
3Dfx = 3dfxogl.ddl
Don’t know ATI’s but it will be installed with drivers. Aslong as they are there It should work, but if they have been messed with you may have problems. Reinstall the original opengl32.dll from the win98 disks then reboot then install ATI’s driver or GLSetup http://www.glsetup.com/where.htm .

Good Luck
