OpenGL applications run very slow

I have just got an nvidia GeForce 2MX PCI card, any games or programs that use OpenGL run really slow or don’t run at all, I have run GL setup But I get the message that the drivers I have installed are more recent I tried a Force Install but no joy. I have reinstalled the nvidia drivers also. Please can someone offer any advice as I do not know what to try next. I have a pentium 2 266mhz running windows me, and 96mb ram.

Have you tried http://www.geforcefaq.com ? I think I remember seeing this very topic there.

Thanks for that it worked for anyone having the same problem this is what i did.

Click Start / Run.

Type “win.ini” (without quotes) and press OK.

Search for a line that says “DVA=0” (without quotes).

Add a semicolon ( before the DVA (The line should now look like this: “;DVA=0” (without quotes))

Save and close the file
