Call of Duty - Could not load opengl

Below is the error I received. I have tried everything on these boards. I currently have a gforce4 ti card from Nvidia. I have tried the following things:

  1. Downloading the tool that let’s you run opengl games on direct3d
  2. loaded the drivers for opengl
  3. reloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia
  4. turned off certain services that seemed unecessary in the admin tool

I am running XP. Anyone discover a fix. The support information I have recieved from Nvidia, the Opengl forums and Activision all are complete bs. They always think that telling you to load the latest drivers for you video card will miraculously fix everything and then send you on your merry way…

Please help if you know of something that really works…
