I just got a radeon 9500 pro, upgraded from a geforce2 pro (1 ghz, 512 ram, XP). I loaded up the latest catylst drivers and all the package that comes with the drivers (from ati.com). When I try to alt-tab in counterstrike, or even just exit the game, it either locks up with a black screen or takes 20-30 seconds. I’ve tried different resolutions, I was wondering should I switch it from openGL to direct rendering or ? I’m about ready to put my geforce2 back in…
yea, don’t alt-tab out. it’s not made for that.
