Open GL is a graphics thingy, and I don’t quite understand the open gl 2.0, should i download it? what will it do? is it like direct x downloads and add stack up? this guy said you should only download the softwares from the company’s site, whtas happening?

You should always keep your drivers up to date. Currently, ATI, Nvidia and 3dlabs support it. If you are having problems with the new driver, go back to the old one.
