I’m currently using Geforce 256 on Windows XP. I’ve tried to install Detonator from nividia.com XP but when I do, a message pops up that this software that I’m installing is not compatitable.
Does this have anything to do with Open GL ?

No, your problem has nothing to do with opengl. Make sure you downloaded the correct driver for your card, and if it still doesn’t work, I would contact Nvidia tech support (or the manufacturer of your card).
