i have a dell inspiron 7500 with the mobility p and opengl doenst have a specific driver for the mobility series so glsetup installs the generic rage series driver which works but not well and you cannot read the writing.
I have a Dell Inspiron 8000, with a Rage Mobility card as well. I tried to run the setup for the OpenGL drivers but it failed outright. It would be nice to have the Rage Mobility supported!!!
IT does support OpenGL, BUT, it’s a laptop.
it would be like gameing Quake2 with a 486.
so, iff ur computer is new…take it back. the first Nvidia based graphichs laptops are about to push ATI off the laptop crown
I’ve got an ACER 737 with ATI RAGE MOBILITY.
I’m running WIN98 drivers by ACER.
Bad OpenGL implementation: it work only in 16-bit color depth and some OpenGL app crashes.
May it be due to glColorMask() implementation or lacking capacity of handling multiple OpenGL rendering contexts per process?
Anyone can help? Suggestion?
