View Full Version : Voodoo 3 3500 & OpenGL problems

04-15-2001, 02:27 PM
After installing windows 2000 over windows ME, i have had many problems
which i have overcome quite easily, but this one is the worst which i just
cannot solve.

when i try and run a game of Half-Life: Counter-Strike, i get 2 windows
errors and 1 game error:

1. Glide fatal error
grSstSelect: non-existent SST

2. OpenGL error
Not a Wicked3D VooDoo2 board(glide2x.dll). Board with multitexturing
is required. Use the other version of the driver for boards with
one texture unit.

1. (game error)
The selected OpenGL mode is not supported by your video card.

I tried installing OpenGL drivers from www.opengl.com (http://www.opengl.com) but they where not
compatible with windows 2000. I have also downloaded many voodoo3 3500
drivers, from www.3dfx.com (http://www.3dfx.com) and they didnt solve my problem.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
