i know i have open gl and i recently upgraded my comp with new hardrive memory and windows xp and now it says i dont have open gl. i dont have a graphics card besides the one im using that came with my 1998 comp
I am pretty sure that you have a display adapter 
Anyway the drivers that install with XP dont support OpenGL and you have to find out what kind of 3d card you have and hope that the manufacturer has an XP driver that supports OpenGL.
Unless its a Nvidia card you may have trouble finding one. In generall XP and ancient hardware dosent mix to well because the hardware was already discontinued and the manufacturer didnt bother to write a proper XP driver or like 3dfx went out of business before he could.
