I just re formatted a friend’s computer and was installing all her stuff when I realized she did not have a product key for her printer. I thought I could bypass putting it in but for some reason the printer won’t print anything. It turns on, acts like it’s working. It even says it’s been recognized and ready to use but it won’t even print a test page. I know I am probably really reaching thinking maybe the lack of the product key has anything to do with it, but I’ve run out of ideas. And yes I downloaded the updated drivers and tried that too… it still won’t print anything. No there is no paper jammed in the printer and yes it has ink in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
