open gl on an old laptop

hi hi
i would appreciate some assistance with my laptop. i am attempting to run Shadowbane on an old laptop Win98SE/pentII/320ram with a atiRageLTPRO agp 2x driver. i have updated the driver to be open gl. when i run Shadowbane i get the following errors:
software opengl context
cant create a gl rending context
window creation error

any help would be awesome. i will browse the other posts in hopes of finding gaming salvation.

Forgot to add…

Even if you did get it to run, it would operate VERY VERY slowly.

i was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. i am out of town w/o my pc and thought i would give it a shot.
