GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

I have video like that:
Diamond Stealth II G460b 8mb
Before I had Q3 this some COOL patch, after installing it I PLAYED Q3 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMZ! (By th way< my video doesn’t support OpenGL, I think so…) Then I had to re-install Windows ( I have Win98 SE Rus all the time… ) and Q3 & other games with its ENGINE doesn’t run… Help me someone!!!

Install DirectX 9.
Run DXDiag and enable DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture Acceleration.

It solved my problem with GLW_StartOpenGL().

Are you using the latest drivers for your card? (Which, unfortunately are from 2002)

The SiS6326 is NOT a video card… but you too may try the latest drivers.

By the way, the reason you two are having problems is that one is using a card that was outdated in 2001, and the other is using an integrated video “chip” from SiS - a company known for cheap crappy video “chips” and weak support for new drivers.
