There’s a workstation with a FireGL2,I know it’s optimized for OpenGL,but if I’d like to play some games,which would fit?
My advice is: try and see. I checked the spec at http://www.ati.com/na/pages/products/workstation/fire_gl2/index.html , and it doesn’t seem too bad.
It’s supposed to be both OpenGL and Direct3D (don’t know what version) compatible, it should be able to run games. Fill rate of 200 Mpix/sec is a little low for a gaming card these days, but still acceptable. And it has T&L.
So try it, and let us know.
