This may sound stupid but how do you find out what type of graphics card you have? Once you do and download the newest driver, what do you save the driver to?
Can someone please help a technological idiot?!
If you are running Windows XP…
open control panel
Click on “System”
Click on “Hardware” tab
Press on “Device manager”
Under Display adapter, the name should be given.
When you download the drivers, which is usually an executable, you run it and it detects the card and installs itself automatically.
You should READ the instructions on the manufacturur’s site.
