Fish! is an OpenGL game for the iphone/ipod touch. It has a realtime 2D SPH fluids solver. The fluid simulation responds to your device’s tilting events. The water is rendered with a multipass approach using OpenGL in order to get refraction effects. The fish themselves are simulated using rigid bodies. They wiggle their tails using a mass-spring system. Rendering is done by distorting the 2D texture based off the wiggle, converting it into a set of bspline points and rendered using OpenGL. Fish! also features particle effects as well as fractal images that the player earns as he/she gains levels.
