BoneLab is a next generation teaching and learning tool for medical professionals, students and anyone who is interested in skeletal anatomy. It is based on the human 3D skeleton model with the highest level of detail presently available. BoneLab is a free program for Windows XP.

Sectional Views of the skeletal system can be created and 3-dimensional explored. Bones can be removed and put back in place. Annotations and comments can be added to a View.

Annotated Views can be exchanged by BoneLab users as very compact View files. Annotations can be searched and a custom specific dictionary is automatically maintained. It is derived from annotation words and allows quick access to all Views related to an anatomical term.
